I enjoyed reading "Not a Word" by Henry Alford this morning. Dictionaries are such fascinating things.

I noticed that my Chambers dates to 1993 and I started lusting after the newest edition.

Just another Wednesday morning...

Before nine a.m. today I'd had four different work emergencies. We've dealt with all but one.

The unfixed one is of course the worst - but it will be dealt with. Soon. The superhero who can fix a computer by reinstalling Windows is on his way.
