Rainy Monday...

The good news? It isn't snowing. Rain is acceptable in April. Appropriate, even.

I got up at six - which wasn't easy, but I managed. I proved I can then do 45 minutes of weights and cardio exercises followed by half an hour of yoga, and still get to work on time. I even managed to check over my computer with scans by .Ad-Aware and Spybot and watch the weekend's episode of Doctor Who over again, but that was done simultaneously.

It was the first time I'd used the 12-pound weights for my exercises. Not as bad as I'd feared, and I remembered all the moves. Not that I wasn't flagging by the time I got to the last set... but Bruce Wayne wouldn't stop doing it, would he? I persevered.

Since I didn't get a bus pass for April, I walked to work, to cheap to use bus tickets. I took a route I don't usually take, walking along the west side of the Rideau Canal, not the east side. It was beautiful, but too cold and wet to stop to take a picture. By the time I got to work, my jeans were soaked. I brought dry clothes, wrapped in plastic, in my backpack.

But if you've been paying attention, you know I'm madly in love with both Peter and Claude, and therefore I am delighted that the Oracle Meme Which Knows All proclaims me a suitable match for the younger Petrelli.

My Super Team...

(1) Team Leader -- Miles Vorkosigan (Lois McMaster Bujold). I'd probably have said Lymond, but vervassal already picked him and I wanted to be different. I might have said Aral Vorkosigan, because I actually like him more than Miles, but Miles is smarter and funnier. I am tempted to say "Magneto", but I can save him for my next team.
(2) Warrior -- Starbuck (Battlestar Galactica) Tough girl.
(3) Smartypants -- Gambit (X-Men) Mostly because he's so sexy.
(4) Hottie -- Peter Petrelli. (Heroes) Sheer visceral reaction.
(5) Comic Relief -- Stephanie Brown (DC comics). She's dead but she was fun while she lasted.

I really didn't pick my favourite characters, because they tend to be loners.
