Smallville: Slumber...
Oct. 23rd, 2003 09:49 pmOh what a delightful episode. Eye candy galore. My Magnificent Bastard being so beautifully bastardly. Lex being so... Lexish, both in the dream and the reality. At last he talked about history again - even if just in Clark's imagination.
Clark's guilt is beautiful to behold.
Clark and Chloe... wonderful scenes together.
Great Kent interaction, and I was happy to see a scene between Lana and Martha. (Did I just say I was happy to see a Lana scene? It's all relative.)
I liked the plot, too. I liked the way it was half Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" and half Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings", with a sword forged in the depths of Mount, er, Fuji, and a Nazgul incognito in Smallville by wearing red robes.
Lana is an idiot. Right. To be expected. Or maybe it's her new Clark-seduction-technique: wander into a murderer's house alone and accuse him of his crimes, so Clark would have to save her.
Did I mention how much I loved the Lionel massage scene? Those beautiful Luthors? That wonderful Lex?
