Hide and Seek...

I went to see the current show at the OLT, Hide and Seek by Lezley Havard.

I was very impressed by some of the performances, especially Michael Kennedy as the nasty farmer down the road - didn't know he could do 'nasty' so well. And Lindsay McRae was excellent as the Child. The play itself is nicely creepy, but full of cliches.

I taped Smallville and will watch it tomorrow. "Velocity", was it? I'm very tempted to watch it tonight, but I mustn't.... I'm a wreck already. Tomorrow. Really.

I'm also taping a PBS show on the Medici, and quite looking forward to it, though such shows usually disappoint me. (now, isn't that a bad attitude?) I'm in the mood for history. At worst, it will bring back memories of good books (e.g.,Lorenzaccio) and Florentine art.
