I tried the "which siren of the silver screen are you?" quiz and got someone so unexpected that I gasped and went away. Marilyn Monroe. Now I ask you - am I anything like her? I bet Louise Brooks wasn't one of the choices. I could have lived with Katharine Hepburn as my result. Honestly!

So I went to something more... predictable. Maybe I was in the mood after reading 3jane's new Jack/Norrington story last night.

Hey, I'd have liked Louise Brooks too! Jean got me a Barbie that looks like Lulu. The highlight of my trip to Lyon was finding a store named after her, that sold vintage Hollywood stuff.

And hey, I was Elizabeth Taylor in that quiz.

Elizabeth Taylor? You could do worse. I always thought she had a great name. As a kid I wanted to marry someone named either Taylor or Windsor - or possibly Tudor.
