Your Rights
I read this on the wall at my massage therapists' office.
- The right to experience and to express your feelings.
- The right to be treated with respect.
- The right to say no and not feel guilty.
- The right to act in ways that promote your self-respect and dignity as long as others' rights are not violated.
- The right to take time to slow down and think.
- The right to change your mind.
- The right to ask for what you want.
- The right to to ask for information.
- The right to do less than you are humanly capable of doing.
- The right to make mistakes.
- The right to feel good about yourself.
In real life have trouble remembering #3 and particularly #7.
