Lunch by the river

Today,  instead od sitting on the east side of the park like I've been doing, I tok another route that took me right to the Rideau River.  I found a spot right by the water - among some interested geese a ducks,  who know a picnic when they see it coming.  But wasps were nesting in that nice spot too, so I politely moved on.

It'a warm and summery, but the light ia fall light, and the trees are changing.
