I neglected to say anything about Adam, Lana's new friend.

My, Lana does jump from one boy to another with remarkable alacrity, doesn't she?

Anyway, Adam. I liked him. Ian Somerhalder was mentioned in the past as a possibility to play the young Bruce Wayne. I don't think he's ideal as Bruce Wayne but he would be a lot better than anyone who has ever played Bruce Wayne before, which unfortunately isn't difficult.

Adam: is he a superhero? He has all the earmarks: a heroic deed, good looks, being orphaned, strong will to succeed. Or will he turn out to be a meteor mutant? I hope not. I was trying to think of DC heroes named Adam, but no one fit the profile. Mind you, they change the profiles anyway on this show. Hmm.

My choice would be to have him become Lana's new boyfriend, as Whitney was in first season. But I don't think that's going to happen. I can hope. I like Lana so much more when she isn't being romanced by Clark, or pining after him.

I remember reading in Sci Fi Wire that they used a bit of Adam Cray in him. He was The Atom III.

I thought of him - because of the name - but I couldn't make the rest of the profile fit. I suspect he's a sort of composite superhero.... We shall see!
