John Barrowman is going to be in the new TV series Arrow.

Of course this makes me happy. Most of what he's been doing lately has been in the UK, which I don't have easy access to.

From the description, I wondered if he would be a sort of Lex Luthor-like character? Though it looks as if Oliver Queen may be the one living in Lex's mansion.

Ironically, Hawkeye in The Avengers sort of whetted my appetite for Arrow too, though of course it's on the wrong side of the DC/Marvel divide. I was going to watch it anyway, since I thought the trailer looked interesting.

Ironically, I was also thinking that Hawkeye might bring in in some viewers for Arrow, and now they're sure to get the Torchwood fans as well. ;)

I'm so happy for him, and beyond stoked! :D
