They've been my favourite pets since childhood. Over the years we've had at least 16, but at the moment we're not in a position to look after any as we have ongoing renovations to the house. Every time I go to shops, I visit the ones in the pet shop and wish I could have more. The last two were someone else's discarded pets, as ours so often are, but they lived to over 4, so that's not bad. I do miss them though.

Seems to me that when you get the renovations done, you'll be able to get another couple of guinea pigs. The time will come!
