Every book-based fandom has its verions of the Casting Game, and it's a favourite among Dunnett fans: who should play Lymond? Dorothy Dunnett herself suggested the young Peter O'Toole (think Lawrence of Arabia). It should be someone with an enormous acting range, but also someone blonde, slim, and blue-eyed. Mind you, wonders can be done with hair dye and cornflower-blue contact lenses.
