Where'd my entry go?

I've been having trouble posting to Lifejournal the last couple of days. What's the problem?

I couldn't get onto LJ at all this morning - I thought I had a problem with my computer, but when I asked here on Dreamwidth I found everyone else was having the same problem. I was told, and I quote, 'There's a technical problem at a data center that hosts the LJ server which has caused the server to be down.'

I can now get on LJ here in England, but several people in America report they're still having problems and even here, posting is hit and miss, when things do post they're really taking their time. Guess all we can do is just wait it out until the problem is fixed.

Yesterday I couldn't go to LJ at all. Today, I can look at it, I can read it, but I can't post, and the automatic posting from my Dreamwidth account isn't working. But auriaephiala seems to have been able to post, and she only lives a couple of miles away from me. I guess it's hit and miss.

Seems that way. Plus, the problems seem to be coming and going. Sometimes a comment posts straight away, sometimes I have to make several attempts. I'm back to typing comments into a text document so I can copy and paste repeatedly until they post. Saves having to keep re-writing the same comment. Thank goodness there's dreamwidth!

I think when it does, there will be a worldwide sigh of relief. There are a lot of frustrated people about!

It's been completely dead for me all day. Can't get it to load at all, but no idea why. *pokes lj cautiously with stick*

Unresponsive, hmm? My friend auriaephiala was able to post, but I've had no luck. I can see Livejournal pages... sometimes. Sometimes not.

I guess I simply need to be patient. Not my best thing.

The problem is that people use it.

....but also it's been down. People say it's back up now.
