I just read an item on the new upcoming DC universe.

My reaction: sometimes I am so glad I am not a DC fan so I can pretty much ignore what's happening.

Even so, I am offended by what they are doing to characters I love. A misanthropic Supergirl? Jason Todd a featured anti-hero? Superman at odds with humanity? It's as if they picked all the things I would least want - changing what's best about these characters into something less appealing. I suspect they are also doing away with some of my favourite characters - Damien Wayne, Katy Kane as Batwoman, Stephanie Brown.

Shudder.
