Saturday... and Canada Day Photos...

A beautiful, beautiful summer's day. I walked to my hairdresser's place and took pictures of gardens on the way.

• As I was crossing the street at Laurier and Elgin, there were the guards for the Changing of the Guard, heading to Parliament Hill. It's been so long since I've seen the Changing of the Guard, I'd practically forgotten they existed.
  
  
  
  
• And I watched a photographer taking pictures of the Guards.

• The house across the street, with not one but two Canadian flags for the occasion:
  
  
  
  
• Pirates on the Rideau Canal, right between the Deparment of National Defense and the Parliament Buildings. Where is the Coast Guard, when you need 'em?
