Tonight I (at last) watched episode 2 of Camelot.
And again, I loved it. I love clueless, lucky Arthur, and scheming dark Merlin, and goth Morgan. This one had Arthur pulling the sword out of the stone - in the middle of a waterfall. Hints at Merlin's immortality. King Lot turning on Morgan because she dissed him in front of his men. Guinevere meets Arthur, and already there's a love triangle with Leontes.
It isn't medieval fantasy so much as twenty-first century Goth fantasy, but that's okay. I liek the style, I like the melodrama, and I particularly like it that it's a fairly original take - I can't predict where it's going.
Smiling happily to think there's more....
