Got some news about my job today that was... perplexing. Seems I likely won't be able to keep it: not because of funding (the previous problem) but because they're going to be making it a bilingual position, and my French just isn't good enough... I still believe I could become bilingual, but not quickly enough. Makes me wish I'd been working harder on it.

Must find work somewhere, and soon.
