Captain John Hart.



We never really got to know the real Captain John. The man we saw was under the control of Gray, under the influence of drugs, desperate and working both ends against the middle. I believe (because I'm a romantic) that he wanted to save Jack, not to kill him, and did what he did to save the world from Gray. Am I right? I can't prove it, but it makes sense.

Ten Reasons to love Captain John Hart:



1. Great boots. Great outfit in general
   
2. He loved Jack. Even in his current totally-screwed-up state, he loves Jack.
   
3. He flirts.
   
4. He went looking for Gray for Jack's sake.
   
5. On meeting Jack again after however long it was, he kissed him - then hit him. Sounds about right.
   
6. Good cheekbones.
   
7. Vague resemblance to Spike.
   
8. If not for any of the rest, I'd still love him for his scene in the boardroom of the Hub.
   
9. "Oh, but I was a Good wife."
   
10. "Honestly, it's just sex, sex, sex, with you people."
