Skrulls.

Maybe it was the overwhelming influence of Fantastic Four #18 - I was at an impressionable age). I always loved Skrulls. I love shape-shifter in general, especially the kind which can pretend to be someone they're not. (Ahh, Chameleon Boy!)

Here are some regular Skrulls - a Captain and his minion:



As time went on, they developed personality and names, particular as used in the Invasion storyline a couple of years ago. I slightly prefer Skrulls as heroes than as villains, but I like them either way. I always loved Annelle the Skrull Princess:
