The 30 Days of Marvel meme:

Day #22: Your favorite universe/dimension.

The Marvel Universe. Earth-616 (though I hate giving universes numbers). I don't generally like diversions from mainstream continuity, though there have been some good stories....

For isntance, the universe of the Age of Apocalypse. I see they called it Earth-295.



Lots of reasons to love this one - what's not to love, in a place where Magneto has long braids, and is paired with Rogue? And a wandering Gambit, maybe, with Iceman? Aah, happy days.

I also like the world of the alternate future of "Days of Future Past".



That brought us Kate Pryde and Rachel Summers - where is Rachel these days? Searching Wikipedia, I see that... my goodness... she joined the Starjammers in a series called X-Men: Kingbreaker, which I have not read and do not plan to read because I dislike Chris Yost's writing. Maybe she'll come back to earth one day.

Though I don't like different universes and dimensions, though good characters come out of them - Rachel, Bishop, Longshot and Shatterstar, Clea, Dark Beast.
