Watched Fringe episode 3x09: "Marionette".
- I'd wondered how they would keep Olivia and Peter apart after this, to draw out the UST. So now we know.
- Poor Peter! My heart was bleeding for him, but at the same time, and all along, I've been thinking, like Olivia, "How could he not tell the difference?" He isn't dumb. He knew about the other Olivia in the other universe. And when Olivia acted so different - he even mentioned it - he couldn't guess?
Maybe it was wishful thinking. Maybe he was just so happy with the way things were going, he didn't want to question it. Still. Big mistake.
And for all she's upset (understandably so), when she was in the other world, she didn't always know the difference between herself and the other Olivia. She accepted the lie, so she should be able to understand how Peter could.
All she needs to do is forgive him, but it may take a while. - We saw Gene again! Yay.
- I can't help wondering what's happening in the other world.
- It's good to see Olivia dressing like Olivia again.
- Walter seemed particularly lovable in his Walterishness tonight.
- And Broyles! I loved him asking about his counterpart's family. So sad.
- Astrid: I loved it when she spoke up on Peter's behalf to Olivia.
- Creepy 'Frankenstein marionette' theme. I liked it that the antagonist had good intentions - at least towards the girl. This was another plot that reminded me of X-Files.
- I liked it very much, but it didn't match the intensity of the previous few episodes.
