Browsing my neighbourhood some more...

Sunny though the day was, I didn't have much time for pictures, before the shadows were long and dark.

1. A twisted tree, near the canal.

3. A duck, acting cool. He was clearly having a good afternoon, dipping under the water for tidbits.



4. The O'Connor Street Bridge.



5. Leaf on a step, on the way up to O'Connor Street from MacKenzie Inlet.



6. Bicycle. I have a thing for photographing bicycles. This one has been sitting attached to this sign on Third Avenue for a long time. The grass grows through its spokes and people have put old drink cups in its basket. Still it abides. The bicycles on the rack behind it are, in contrast, in regular use.



7. The squirrel and the pumpkin.



8. More red berries, in profusion.



9. The front of my building, as dusk comes on. The picture was taken facing east.
