Watched Leverage with [personal profile] commodorified, [personal profile] fairestcat, [personal profile] random, [livejournal.com profile] raynedaze and [livejournal.com profile] auriaephiala. The best episode yet this year: 3x05, "The Studio Job". John Schneider played the villain - and it took me a while to recognize him. I did recognize Alona Tal, though I had to look up her name on IMDb; turns out she has a name that sounds like someone from The Legion of Super-Heroes, though I knew her as Jo on Supernatural. Even more interesting, she was the second choice for the role of Veronica in Veronica Mars. Kristen Bell was perfect in that role, but Alona Tal would have been almost as good.

I was so tired I almost forgot to do my arm exercises while watching Leverage.

Though I am not, I repeat, not doing NaNoWriMo, I signed up for 750 words, which looked like fun. Challenging, but fun. I started with a Daken/Black Cat story. The idea amused me.

It's Alona, not Anola; and it's not superhero, it's Hebrew. She's Israeli.

There's no reason a superhero name couldn't be Hebrew in origin; what I object to is the notion that Hebrew names sound so 'weird' they have to be superhero names...?

Well...I wish you'd said exactly that, then.

Tiferet is Hebrew, too, btw.
