Shower curtain...

I went to Costco yesterday, having in mind to buy a new shower curtain, but didn't find one. I did get a swiffer, a chicken, and some batteries for the much-used Walkman.

Back home, I fell tired and out of sorts, despite a good nine hours of sleep. Allergies, I think: itchy skin and itchy eyes were the giveaway. Unable to settle to much, I walked to Billings Bridge (it took between thirty and forty minutes) and found a great shower curtain at Zeller's. The one I liked best was sold out, and too expensive anyway; I was about to settle for a cheaper, plain one in blue when I chanced across one on sale for no discernable reason - a $34 curtain for $9.95 - and a very nice pattern, too.

It made for a satisfying expedition.

After supper, I gave in to the general sleepiness and curled up on the sofa to watch The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. That movie just never fails to charm, never gets old, never gets dull.

No, no more Egyptian shower curtain, at least for a while. I'm going to wash it and store it away for a while.
