Day 14 - A movie that no one would expect you to love

Really, I have no idea what other people expect me to love or hate. My experience is that people tend to think I'll love the movies they love, because they think they are good. It's often (but not invariably) true. More often I dislike movies people expect me to love: Merchant Ivory movies, Jane Austen, Shrek, Ocean's Eleven.

I have surprised myself by liking movies I expected to hate. Terminator 2 is an example. I expected mindless violence without much characterization or plot, and instead got a damn good movie for my money.
