Wands and assorted thoughts

I apologize: I've already forgotten who I got this from. I'm too sleepy today to remember anything.
I wasn't going to do it, I really wasn't. Silly idea: I don't want a wand, I'm really not into Harry Potter (except for Slytherin House and the Malfoys, maybe we shouldn't pursue that, hmm?).
Only I found the result.... oddly interesting.
10 1/2 inches, cedar and floo powder, a strange
Gregorovitch combination indeed! You've been
bitten bad by the travel bug, and change is the
name of your game. A true wanderer, you can't
stay long in one place and wish to travel the
world.
Which wand will yours be?

It isn't the part about travel that impressed me - much as I love to travel I like a home base, too. Rootlessness doesn't interest me. But the key word here is 'adventure' which this year I have taken as my path. The reasons are a long story: but in order to overcome the pitfalls of life my new aspiration is to see life as an adventure. "Life is an adventure or it is nothing," Helen Keller said, and I have that motto (the first part of it) framed on my living room wall among the CLex pictures.
Perhaps having a motto, having an approach, having a metaphysical strategy is the same as having a wand.
So what does Gregorovitch mean?
