Marion and Vicky came for lunch: chicken casserole. We talked for a while, then watched Inspector Lewis 4x02, "Dark Matter". Marion's leg is much better.

But explodedteabag has twisted her ankle badly. Talked with her on the phone briefly, mostly about True Blood, which she likes and which I find extremely boring. Talked also, more briefly, with josanpq, who is, it seems, reading no fanfic any more.

The pain in my arm has shifted; now the elbow is all right but my hand and fingers are aching. I'd like to think it's a sign of healing - less numbness, more motion, causing more discomfort. But who knows?

There were trucks labelled "Broadbend" out front much of the day, and men digging up the garden. Marion asked them why: apparently they were installing fibre optics. Hmmm.

commodorified, fairestcat, random and raynedaze came over with supper and we watched Doctor Who 5x12 "The Pandorica Opens" (because random hadn't seen it yet) and then 5x13 "The Big Bang" and the Confidential "Out of Time". A good the was had by all. Much Rory love, and Amy/Rory love. We got into a long conversation about River Song, and how we thought her timeline worked in these episodes - and all her appearances to date - and what might be coming up for her in the Christmas Special and next season.
