More Fringe...
Jun. 1st, 2010 10:09 pmI watched two more episodes of Fringe this evening, "Bad Dreams" and "Midnight". Enjoyed both. In only two more episodes I'll be through season 1, and I'll have caught up with
- Loved the scene in "Bad Dreams" where Lane was describing himself as having lived the lifestyle prescribed by ZFT, and our realization that Olivia is the same. I felt very sorry for Nicholas Boon, the scientist in "Midnight", who sacrificed everything for his wife, and perhaps also to atone for what he did for ZFT. It's nice to see a romantic character in this show. Also to see a scientist (besides Walter) who isn't evil.
- Also loved the scene of Walter watching a video-tape of Olivia when she was about three.
- My current suspicions are that William Bell mind-wiped Walter before framing him. But we don't know, and this show isn't very predictable. On the other hand, Broyles' surprise at the news that Bell was behind ZFT was amusing, because, well, yes, of course he was.
- Did Walter write the book, or Bell?
- I am so very glad that Rachel and Ella haven't been kidnapped or otherwise terrorized by the villains.
- Were no experiments done on Peter?
I'd love to be able to collect icons or look online for Fringe discussions and stories, but I don't want spoilers. I really don't.
