svdodecals: Challenge #20: Show us (in 144 words) the short "missing scene" of your choice from "Exile," "Phoenix," or "Extinction". This is a sequel to my dodecal from yesterday, "Ashes". Of course with both, I am not so much featuring a missing scene, as giving an interior monologue.

Hugged
Lex seldom touched anyone, but he moved into Clark's hug as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Clark held him, marveling that Lex was alive. As always, he was completely alive in that way that others weren't, heart and soul, something to do with his personal energy, his brains, his focus.
Lex hugged as if Clark deserved it. As if it were what Lex wanted.... What he needed. As if they had never been apart. As if Clark were lovable. As if he were loved.
After three months of red Kryptonite hunger and withdrawal, violence and crime, self-involvement and utter coldness, Clark began to feel his heart thaw.
After marriage and apparent death and being lost, Lex was found again, and back where he should be - with Clark.
Clark now had the thing he thought he had lost forever: happiness.
