Michael Moorcock...

I read in Previews magazine last night that Michael Moorcock has written a Doctor Who/Torchwood novel.

And I thought Moorcock was dead.

Well, he's not. Alive and well and writing. It didn't take much googling to find this item.

So it seems he wrote about the Doctor and Captain Jack. How cool is that?
