We have some major dish banging going on, on Domino's part - bam, bam, bam against the bars. Do you think he's noticed that I haven't fed them this morning yet?

I think some emergency millet is called for.

I've used the millet stopgap myself this morning...

You know, if anyone had ever suggested that I'd want a pet that would bite me every time it didn't get its way, scream and throw things for attention, and then poop on me, I would have pointedly reminded them that I don't want children. But now that I've had the little birds around for a few years, these behaviors don't sound quite so negative as they would have in the pre-bird era.

Yeah, isn't it weird what we'll put up with? I don't know how they do it.

Or maybe I do. It's all that cuteness.

Quite a survival trait, that.
