I try to do it, at least the reading part.

I do too, but it also seems to come naturally. My tastes generally aren't mainstream, or aren't fashionable, or something.

As you know, mine aren't either. I more meant that... surfing wildly across the googlewaves and wikiseas brings you to new, unexpected places, no matter where you start. And you end up at topics that were never "your topics" to begin with, learning new things about things you didn't know existed. It's new and shiny.

New and shiny indeed, and I've been finding some fascinating things everywhere lately. My brain seems to have slipped into a new, curious mode - I just hope I find more time to write, to exploit this newfound mental energy.
