Odds 'n' Ends...
Apr. 20th, 2010 08:06 am- It took me half an hour to roll out of bed this morning, but I still managed to get to my 7:40 a.m. chiropractic appointment on time. I woke up with a slight backache; now it feels terrific. I wish I could see my chiropractor at 7:40 every morning.
- Why is it that some organic items I bought this week cost about the same as regular produce - the zucchini, for example - while the organic eggs cost twice as much as the normal eggs? Organic milk costs a lot more, too.
- It's a beautiful, sunny day and I saw another patch of dwarf irises on Fourth Avenue - a deep royal blue colour. Gorgeous.
- I have two jobs to go to today - I thought I had a busy, but my chiropractor has to be in Toronto for a meeting with MPPs and then back in Ottawa in time for dinner and a hockey game. I imagine he can make it... If the Toronto traffic isn't too bad.
- Last night I saw the first two episodes of series five Doctor Who with
commodorified,
fairestcat,
random and
auriaephiala. I think I like Eleven more every time I see him. Still don't see a resemblance to Tennant; I think Eleven is very like Nine, especially when he's sarcastic. And a resemblance to Nine is a great thing. Especially when he's sarcastic.
And I still adore Amy Pond.
Looks as if it'll be a great season.
