Series Five Doctor Who...
Apr. 4th, 2010 09:45 pmIn scifi Friday, Alan Stanley Blair says:
[Russell T] Davies once said that if you give kids nothing but good stuff, they will grow up wanting to watch nothing but the good stuff. Well, Mr. Davies, you've certainly spoiled all of us, and now all we want is the good stuff. That's true for me. There are no writers I can think of who are as likely to do a good job here as Steven Moffat; I see only two possibilies. It will either be a brilliant show, or he will do something so egregiously annoying that I'll be offended and won't want to watch. There are two episodes of the show so far that I've been furious about: one by Davies, one by Moffat.
Makes life interesting.
Meanwhile, judging by what we got in "The Eleventh Hour", I think the prognosis is good.
