Today's Thanksgiving dinner...

The turkey was delicious. The cranberry sauce (made from scratch from fresh Ontario cranberries that I bought in the Byward Market this afternoon) was everything I hoped for. The pies from the 3 Tarts... well, they were as good as anything I've ever had from them.
Afterwards we watched Billy Elliot, a movie I've seen before, and loved. I cried over it again. I think the actor who plays Billy's brother Tony is really cute - he looks familiar, but I don't think I've seen him in anything else. The actor's name is Jamie Draven.
Then I finished my reading of all the Catwomen comics I was able to get. They were superb, and I think it gets better as it goes - though it's hard to say. It isn't so much that the quality improves as that each story draws on characters and events that came before, so it deepens in richness and significance.
Of course, I only have some of the issues, so there are huge gaps in the story for me. As usual, I loved the rare appearances of Batman, with his mysterious personality and his ambivalent relationship with Selina.
