Ianto Holmes...

Does anyone here know anything about this version of Sherlock Holmes? Should I be looking forward to it, or worrying? Who is doing it? I always think "it's all in the writing" and looking at Paul Bales' credits doesn't impress me - Mega Shark vs. Giant Octobus and The Da Vinci Treasure?
The trailer... Erk. What has Gareth David-Lloyd done to make himself look so unimpressive and chubby? It looks a little like the Doctor Who episode "The Next Doctor" (not one of my favourites).

Date: 2010-02-19 01:17 am (UTC)But I've watched it twice and LOVE the way GDL plays Watson...he has a date, but Holmes demands his time...and we DID get that famous eye roll a couple of times and that sigh!
It was very well worth the the money!
Yes GDL looks a little chubby but I think some of fault for that is in the costuming (and some in the beer).
If you want a great movie...don't buy it...if you want an AU romp it's worth it... (by way of a disclaimer: I bought 'Method' BOTH versions/names (the US and the UK- the titles were different and I didn't know it was the same movie, LOL for the 5 minutes of Barrowman in it AND that horrible Megaloshark thingy)

I'm very glad to hear the eye rolls were intact!
I didn't buy Shark Attack but I did beg for it for Christmas. Shamelessly!
