I had a wonderful evening visiting my friend Jacques. His house is decorated in Disney memorabilia; it's amazing. I gave him an Eco-Friendly Mug - put in the hot water and watch the coastlines disappear. He gave me a Pinocchio mug. We ate turkey and talked about travel and politics. A great time was had by both of us.

Earlier in the day: a wonderful, wonderful congee lunch at the Yang Sheng; a trip to the Silver Snail for their post-Christmas sale of graphic novels; a visit to Stonewall's for books and cards. And then groceries, while planning our menus for New Year's Day celebration.
