Christmas Evening...

Our Christmas dinner was lavish and lovely, and we all ate more than we thought we would. I even managed two helpings of plum pudding with rum hard sauce - how did that happen? Individually, they were small portions, but still.

We'd been planning to go to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie, but none of us felt like moving. So we watched two episodes of the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes TV show, "A Scandal in Bohemia" and "The Crooked Man". "The Crooked Man" had a canary in the show, and whenever it started to chirp, my Little Feathered Guys started to pay attention and to sing along. They like it when birds are included in the cast. maaseru were pleased to see (and recognize) Fiona Shaw again.
