Morning: oatmeal for breakfast, visit to the bank and the chiropractor. A beautiful sunny day, with lots of snow everywhere.
Afternoon: Lunch was from T&T (delicious!) then I spent a lot of the afternoon housecleaning. Made supper for
Last night we watched Jsse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory, the first two episodes, one on HAARP and one on 9/11. It felt like a real blast from the past: I've hardly given Jesse the Body Ventura a thought in the past few decades, but I knew him well in the eighties because my ex was a fan of his. I liked him, too: he was colourful. Still is. It's like having the Incredible Hulk go around interviewing people. I don't usually like that kind of sensationalist, aggressive journalism, but as I watched I felt myself admiring his gumption and his goals.
Besides, it was interesting. I thought I was up on the main conspiracy theories, but he had angles I'd never heard of.
Though maybe I shouldn't have watched. His piece on HAARP, coupled with the situation of Tony Stark in the Marvel comics I read before going to bed, both with the general theme of mind control, had me dreaming about being surrounded by men in black with big guns and huge trucks, hiding in my dressing gown protecting a baby (and its scientist father) from capture in true superhero fashion. Not that superheroes usually go around in dressing gowns. Did I think I was Jessica Jones?
I need an extension cord for the Christmas lights on my harp.
