Christmas concert...
Dec. 7th, 2009 10:12 pmI went to a Christmas concert his evening, "Vespers and Carols" by the Musica Viva Singers and Harmonia Choir of Ottawa. I knew about it because
They started out with Mendelssohn and Mozart, and then did some carols and more modern music. I really liked John Rutter's Christmas Lullaby, and the closing Auld Lang Syne, which was not the tune we're all used to - according to the conductor, it was an earlier version, though I can't find it online.
I was a little afraid to walk to the church in the snow, with my recent ankle mishaps, but that's sheer cowardice.
