Oh thanks! I had not seen that one before. Here's one I love, and have been a member of for 5 years or so, you can do a similar thing here: http://www.recipezaar.com/
They have free and paid memberships (pretty cheap around 20 USD annually) and you can collect recipes to your own private cookbooks as well as publish recipes of your own there privately with notes etc. I have several published recipes there. Sometimes I plan the entire week's menu just by hitting the random recipe button.
I love the availability of online cookbooks. Not that I don't love the ones on my shelf - but online access to infinite recipes just gives me so much scope.
Oh I totally agree. I used to collect cookbooks. I have around a 100 to 200 of them. But they are just a hassle... always trying to figure out A. Which cookbook B. Where is the cookbook I want (what box or one of 5 kitchen bookshelves) C. Messing them up (with notes, etc) I've stopped purchasing hard copy ones since I found recipezaar and recipesource and allrecipes among some others.
And the search functions are just awesome even epicurious has a good one.
re: the icon I'm proud of that one made it myself (and I have SO NO talent) I think it's one of his best sides! LOL!
