Supernatural: The Real Ghostbusters...

I was asleep on the sofa when explodedteabag came down to watch Supernatural with me. Watched in a happy doze.

Well. I don't generally like the comedy episodes. I prefer shows that take themselves seriously. Chuck and Becky are not my favourite characters - and I don't like the way Sam twitches when she's around. Chuck and Becky are both caricatures, less real than the random victims and bit characters of other episodes. Though I suppose I'm glad Becky and Chuck can now be happy ever after. Especially if we don't see them again...

It was all so very self-referential. Or... not even that. Too busy teasing the fans.

The best part of the episode was the last five minutes, which had most of the best lines. I liked Damian (or was it Barnes?) pointing out to Dean that his life didn't suck - though I'm not sure I like the implication there that "fans lives suck", which is sometimes true and sometimes not, as with ever type of person on the planet. But it was nice to see Dean stop grumbling for a moment.
