That pretty snowstorm...

My back feels good today. My ear feels good. I am immensely cheered. Amazing what the disappearance of pain will do to cheer a person up.

On the other hand, my television isn't working. I spent an hour on the phone with Rogers, crawling around behind the television connecting and reconnecting wires - it still won't show what's aired. I then spent some time on the phone with the Panasonic people, to no avail. Bring it to a repair shop, they said.

As I see it, my options:

1. Contact a friend who's good at fixing televisions
   
2. Take it to the Panasonic repair shop
   
3. Live without a television
   
4. Buy a beautiful new plasma TV

You can probably tell which option most appeals.

Hmm.

maaseru thinks it's the nudging of fate. I did say a couple of days ago that I wanted a new television. Can I square this with my conscience?

Or can I square it with my conscience if I don't get a new television?
