What, already?
Oct. 2nd, 2003 07:35 amIt was a shock to turn on the weather channel this morning: it isn't just wet and cold today. We're getting snow flurries. Snow. Already. Ah well, at least it isn't hot. And only flurries.
Beuatiful weather, they say, on the west coast. Some of you are lucky. And my father.
If I rush now (and don't write too much here) I have time to do weights before work. Can't do it at lunchtime because I'm meeting Jacques. Can't do it after work because I have to go and vote in the Provincial elections. I'm still not entirely sure who to vote for; "not the Conservative" is a given, but otherwise.... I'm still flipping a few mental dice. Lots of candidates. No Arnold Schwarzenegger. (No, I wouldn't vote for him. In case you were wondering.)

Date: 2003-10-03 04:40 am (UTC)I wish I had. I wished I had worn gloves, too. I didn't, and I was cold. At one point I was outside - walking to the bank - and it appeared to be raining, but the raindrops on my coat didn't look like rain, they didn't even look wet - it was as if my coat was covered in little slapeless crystals. I can't quite call it snow, but it was the closest thing I've seen without actually being snowflakes. Pretty, but cold!
