Saturday...

Went to the airport to say good-bye to Don, who flew off about noon. (Such a wonderful visit!) When I'd gone to the airport to wave good-bye to maaseru on her way to France and England, she'd had a drink called a Canadian Colada that I wished I'd tried. So I got it today. Still good.

Still researching luggage.

Sheila picked me up and took me out to lunch at Montana's - a restaurant she and Harry and I always enjoyed. Had ribs, broccoli, caesar salad and - a favourite - sweet potato fries. Bought groceries, went to the bank, picked up Joseph and we all went back to Sheila's place for a bit of work and dessert - ice cream with raspberries, strawberries and/or caramel sauce.

Then we went to Tasia's for an Apalexy dinner, because Vince had brought us one of the chickens he raised himself, and Tasia cooked it. We all brought dishes - I brought pumpkin pie and rhubarb/strawberry pie from Farm Boy. Present: StarWolf, Sheila, Donna, Tasia, Beulah, Peter, auriaephiala (now back from southern Ontario), Vince and me. We talked about solar power, skunks, cats, books, new anime, and Remington Steele. I ate too much.

Lovely day, but now I'm exhausted...!
