Yesterday I was plagued with a bad headache most of the day, and scatterbrained with it. After my hatha yoga class I felt so good I wondered why I don't do yoga every day, and resolved to do it more often. Twice a day, even.

Today, I got up early enough to go to the fitness club for aerobics before work, but I didn't go. I did a session of yoga instead. I feel terrific. Let's hope this lasts.

Mind you, it's allergy season for me, and the fact that I took an antihistamine last night might have something to do with the reason I feel good.

Oddly, I have had great difficulty with any of the balance poses lately, when I do yoga after work. Even is some of the simple standing poses. which are not really supposed to be balance poses at all, I've felt unsteady. Today doing vrksasana (the Tree) was easy. Hmm. Might that be related to allergies too? Or a reflection that I've been feeling lately that my life is too mixed-up and chaotic?

Why do I think that? Serious question for rumination....
