At noon, I met with Lisa and we walked along the Ottawa River behind Parliament Hill.

At one, I met with Vicky and Marion and they took me to the Canal Ritz for an early birthday lunch. I had red snapper with rice; it was lovely. We sat outside on the canal, and it was beautiful.

In the evening, I cleaned up my desk. Sorted papers. Washed and dusted. Felt filled with virtue.
