maaseru's birthday.




Have a great year, maaseru!

We went out for brunch with josanpq and lunacy_gal to a new place in Westboro called the Village Cafe. New to us. I had their daily special, a lovely crepe. And then shamelessly finished off maaseru's eggs Benedict and josanpq's omelette.

Then went to Ikea, and bought a lamp. Broke the one by my computer desk. Didn't find one quite the same. I got one that will be suitable for the bedroom, and will readjust the lamp locations in the room.

Finally unpacked and cleaned up the apartment a little, and went through some of my photos of the trip to England and Wales.

Then explodedteabag and I took maaseru out for a birthday dinner. We went to The Peach Garden, lamenting the loss of Mitzi's, which was always our favourite birthday place. The proprietor of The Peach Garden gave us cheesecake for dessert - he must have seen the birthday celebration going on. We ate way too much.
