Supernatural: the last episode...

I watched Supernatural episode 1x10 ("Asylum") today, and that was the last one I hadn't seen. I also saw "Dead Man's Blood", but I'd seen it before - and what a joy to see John Winchester again.

So. No new Supernatural till season 5.

A few random comments (nothing new here):

1. I love John Winchester. I also love Castiel. And though I started out finding Sam and Dean mighty unattractive, they've grown on me.
   
   
2. Season 4 is best. Angels. It's the angels that brought me in and much as I love the rest, that's by far my favourite.
   
   
3. The photography and cinematography, except for season 3, is superb.
   
   
4. I always love the opening credits.
   
   
5. Love the way the story develops. Bit by bit. Excellent continuity, excellent escalation of suspense and drama.
   
   
6. There are some stupid plots, but good characterization and details tend to pull us through. Worst flaw in the show: some very lame female characters, and a significant number of very good ones.
   
   
7. Best moment in the whole series: the first appearance of Castiel.
   
   
8. Worst moment in the whole series: Dean lets Bela steal the Colt.
   
   
9. The thing I least want to see in season 5: Dean fighting Sam. The thing I most hope to see in season 5: a return of John Winchester.
