I woke up thinking about Harry, and it seemed to me it would be nice to post a photo of him. So I scrambled through my old web pages and found one I had online already here. It's an old photo (from about twenty-five years ago) but I like to think it captures his spirit, which never changed. That smile - he's about to tease someone about something.

i'm sorry to hear about your friend,
it always hits harder when the person is in your own age group
but you at least have had a chance to say your goodbyes
and you have good memories and can keep him alive in your heart

That's all so very true.

He was possibly the closest person to me in age I've ever known - exactly two weeks younger than I am.
