I'm dying of allergies here. Ugh.
Did something I've never done today: I went to a church supper. St. John's Anglican in the Parish of March, which feels as if it's in the country, even though it isn't.

The food was more or less what you'd expect at a church dinner; plain and delicious. There was a particularly nice salad which turned out to be made by the woman sitting next to us. I ate too much. Really. Blueberry pie. Haven't had blueberry pie in an eon.
After eating, I wandered the garden and took more photos of irises, and walked through the labyrinth alone. It was quiet and beautiful; very peaceful.
Back home, we watched two episodes of Supernatural - and it felt like a long time since we'd got a fix. We saw episode 3x10, "Dream a Little Dream of Me" (sounds like a Susan Elizabeth Phillips title) and 1x12, "Faith". Both were excellent, though very different in style.
I now have a Torchwood patch on the back of my jacket, and a John Barrowman pin - I bought it at Torchsong and then couldn't find it when I got home, and feared I'd lost it on the plane. But no: I'd lost it in a sofa cushion. Happy to have found it again.
